According to 532 likely Florida Congressional District 1 voters, political newcomer Rebekah Jones trails Congressman Matt Gaetz by 7.9% with 24.4% being undecided. Actually Jones leads Gaetz in 2 counties, as of this point in time. Additionally, when looking at the study, you will a 30% drop in Gaetz’s favorability taking him to 49% with his unfavorable at 30%. When taking an overall look at this study, you will see that Gaetz is vulnerable in a seat where he was once thought of as unbeatable.

Here we conducted a Q-Score to see the stance of Gaetz. Having polled Gaetz numerous times in the past 2 years, this is the lowest number for favorable we have seen. Here we have him with 49.6% favorable. That is a 30% drop from where he was in June. That is very significant.

METHODOLOGY:
The persons sampled were Florida likely voters in the Florida First Congressional District with a voting score of 100% for the primary and general election cycles. The voters called were those with cell phones and landlines using Live Operators during the hours of 1PM to 8PM October 8-28, 2021. The Margin of Error for this study is +/- 4.25% with a confidence level of 95%.
